They both work full time, Sue in a legal firm, and Julie is an early childhood teacher.
Sue is a smoker, but only outside.
The house is in a quiet leafy street, 6 minutes walk from the train station. It is a passive solar design with lots of windows and feels light and spacious. It has a back yard and vegie garden.
The kitchen has new electric oven and dishwasher, and there is a front loading washing machine, but no electric dryer. |

The room can be furnished or unfurnished. Bed, bedside cabinet, study desk. Study desk can be single table or corner desk, lamp, oil heater, fan heater, portable A/C unit. I would prefer a vegan/vegetarian housemate if possible. No bond necessary but must pay rent in advance.

Share utility costs. But not food as I have a particular diet. You only need to keep your bedroom clean and tidy. I look after the cleaning of the house, garden, bins etc.
Street parking in front of the house. Two minute walk to Clifton Hill train station, and within 10 minutes you are in the CBD. I am on the Hurstbridge, Merda, Eltham train line and the 246 bus down Hoddle Street to St Kilda. Five minute walk to Collingwood Leisure Centre and Queens Parade shops.
No other people to stay in my home. Not a party/entertaining house. |
