| Detailed Description |
| Unfurnished bedroom (ignore the stuff in the photos!) for rent in a 3 bedroom Maroubra townhouse, about 10 minutes walk from the beach & Maroubra Junction, plently of public transport via buses to the city and Bondi - available from September 2nd. The room is medium sized (3.6m by 3m), and comes unfurnished, but we do have a spare clothes rack/shelf you can use.
You would be sharing with a fun, active household (one guy and a girl) both in our early thirties. We both work part-time, study and then some - hobbies include music/singing, yoga, rock climbing and design… as such we keep different hours, but usually end up having dinner or hanging out in the living room at least a couple of times a week.
There's a garage (housing a motorbike and other odds and ends) that you can use to store some of your belongings, and there's room for another bike or scooter as well. Otherwise there's plenty of free on street parking.
You would be sharing one full bathroom (shower, bath, toilet) with just one other person, and there's a spare toilet downstairs as well.
There's no TV - we do have a projector though that you're welcome to use, but it's usually only on for movies, Moto GP races, Archer/Modern Family, and the odd round of XBox.
Rent is $230 per week, including Internet. As for other expenses, water and electricity usually work out to be around $40 month.
Definitely looking for long term stayers (minimum 6 months), so while students and travellers are welcome, it would be under the condition that you do stick around for a while. Rent is paid 2 weeks in advance, and we'd also like 4 weeks bond up front.
In short, we're looking for someone who's fun but mature, relaxed yet clean, and who can bring something interesting and unexpected to our little community. If this is you, then call or email and we'll set up a time to meet! |
